...a hub of information and resources for postdoctoral researchers in the Oxford Chemistry Department
There is LOADS going on for postdocs and early career researchers, but it can be tricky to find! This site aims to collect all the useful information and keep it in one place. Please contact us if you think something is missing or you want to promote something of interest to postdocs in chemistry.

Joliot Curie Conference 2017
The Joliot Curie Conference 2017 is an exciting development opportunity for chemistry post-docs aspiring to pursue a career in academic research. The Joliot Curie Conference is an annual event, which this year will be held at the University of Bath, 5th - 6th September. The conference aims to celebrate diversity in research and to the motivate the delegates with inspirational talks and practical help.
With input from successful academics at all career stages and from a wide variety of backgrounds, there will also be great opportunities to present research, to network, and to take part in an interactive workshop on making successful funding applications. The conference registration fees are very modest (£20 for RSC members and £25 for non-members).
For further information, please see the flyer and the programme and you can find the latest news and details of how to register here: http://rsc.li/joliot-curie-2017
The conference will be valuable for all post-docs and is especially supportive for those who face particular barriers to progression. The final deadline for registration is 18th August.
