By Bus:

There are two main bus companies operating routes in and around Oxford:

You can apply online on the oxford staff gateway for a discounted bus pass or season ticket loan.

There is also a new ScienceTransitShuttle service between Harwell, The Science Area (South Parks Road) and Old Road campus.

By Train:

You might want to consider purchasing a Network Rail Card (£30 for 12 months), which gives you 1/3 off most train travel in the South-East (including Oxford to/from London)

You can also apply for a season ticket loan via the staff gateway.

Useful information about public transport in Oxford can also be found on the City Council Website:

The staff gateway has information for local travel and links to airport information, bus and train companies.

Buses to London:

Discounted tickets for the Oxford Tube can also be purchased from MegaBus (up to 24h ahead of travel) - the earlier you buy tickets, the cheaper the fare!

Trains to London:
